DESCRIPTION
If your journey from Split continues north, join us on a half-day canoe escape on magnificent Zrmanja river. Wild West-like canyon of this river is among most beautiful in Croatia. For thousands of years this river has been making it’s way towards sea with a little help of tributary river Krupa. On it’s way, it made one of the most impressive canyons decorated with numerous cascades and waterfalls, travertine tresholds, infinite sandbanks and gravel deposits.
This scenary will make your canoe safari experience unforgettable even if you don’t have previous canoeing or kayaking experience. Upon arrival to the meeting point you will be given equipment and safety briefing and during kayaking tour we will visit the place where rivers Zrmanja and Krupa meet to stop for a swim and a picnic (not included in price).

TRIP INFO
Activity level: Moderate
Minimum Age: 6 years if accompanied by parents.
What to Bring: Shorts and bathing suit, T-shirts and sandals (or sport shoes), towel, sun block, water, optional snacks. If you have sunglasses, don’t forget to tie them.
Swimming: During the tour you can swimm at the stops allowed by your instructor.
Equipment & Staff: We use professional Rob Fin inflatable boats for 1-2 people with an optional child seat. Helmet, PFDs, life-jacket and paddle are included. All customers must wear Personal Flotation Devices (PFD) and helmets at all times while on the river. In case of cold weather long neoprene suit and rain jacket are provided). All of our professional guides are registered at Croatian mountain rescue service. Staff members speak Croatian and English.
Availability: Every day from 1st of June to the end of September. This trip runs if there are 2 or more people. E-mail us regarding dates and tell us the number of people in your group. We will inform you about the dates available.
Special Conditions: The operator has the right to cancel tours, without notice at their discretion depending on the weather or river conditions. All safety instructions from Adventure Dalmatia’s staff must be adhered to.

Price: 40€ per person
Children price: 19,00€ (valid for children aged 12 and under at time of travel)
The price includes: Guide, use of necessary equipment, insurance, entrance to Velebit Nature Park, secure parking for personal cars at the starting point, return transfer from end point back to your car.
Transfer: Possible upon agreement from Split or Zadar.
Payment: Cash payment or bank transfer.

By car from Zadar:
Follow directions SMILČIĆ – OBROVAC and stay on that main road until OBROVAC. When you come to the big crossroad DO NOT TURN down to town OBROVAC, but CONTINUE STRAIGHT towards KAŠTEL ŽEGARSKI.
By car from Šibenik:
Use the highway A1 and exit at BENKOVAC. Continue towards KNIN and MEDVIĐA. After 15km turn left for KAŠTEL ŽEGARSKI.
75km from Zadar and 85km from Šibenik.
Meeting time at 10 AM.
